Dr. Mitul Mehta is the Managing Director and the driving force behind TekPlus, a leading strategy consultancy for the ICT industry. He has a high profile image as one of the leading authorities in Europe on the technology industry, focused on the enterprise, e-business, storage, IT Services and the emerging IT landscape. His background covers all the traditional IT, Telecoms, Networking and Electronics areas and he has a vast amount of experience in providing business and strategic consulting in these areas for the leading 100 global end-user companies. Dr. Mehta has recently been recognised by “International Who’s Who” as a leading influencer and contributor to the international business community.

Dr. Mehta has regularly advised leading IT companies including Cisco, HP, IBM, CSC, 3Com and Microsoft, and has also focused on key verticals of Financial Services and the Healthcare IT market for over ten years.

Prior to establishing TekPlus, Dr. Mehta was the head for over five years of the Technology Research Group for Frost & Sullivan and held the title of European Group Manager reporting directly to the Managing Director. The divisions reporting to him were;    1) The Telecoms group, 2) The Datacomms group, 3) The Computer and Peripherals group, 4) The Software and Banking group, 5) The Semiconductor and Optics group and the 6) The Electronics Components group.

Dr. Mehta has over ten years experience in Information Technology. Prior to becoming a consultant, he managed advance research laboratories in optical communications, nanotechnology and semiconductors. He has considerable experience in business planning, strategic analysis, marketing, and feasibility studies.

Dr. Mehta is an experienced lecturer within the IT, Software and Electronics fields. Dr. Mehta is a leading speaker for key clients and key conferences including round-tables, strategic discussion forums, etc. (eg HP SuperDome, HP Openview, 3Com, Unisys Directions, CSC and Inter-Networking conferences). He is in continuous demand in the media and television press and frequently quoted in the European technical press.
