Medasys is one of the leading players in the French HIS market. Its systems are installed in some of the largest and most prestigious hospitals and universities in Europe. The company’s consolidation activities last year seem to have gone well and TekPlus believes Medasys is now favourably positioned to execute on growing its profit stream. Its DxCare and BioCare offerings are good but are not well penetrated in many European, Asia and American regions and hence the company does not get major market shares in what TekPlus believes to be key global markets. We see good opportunities for Medasys solutions if it expands geographically. The company also needs to leverage more of its eco-partners strengths as well as better enhance its value stack to provide more services and integrated solutions.
